🌘 Night - Luna moth & Datura stramonium, Polianthes tuberosa, and Cestrum nocturnum.
Moths and night-blooming flowers share a delicate symbiosis, where each depends on the other for survival - flowers release their fragrance to guide the moths to nectar, and in return, the moths carry pollen to ensure the plants' reproduction. This quiet, mutual exchange is a reminder that life thrives on cooperation and balance, with each small action contributing to the greater whole. Even in the dark, life is continuing to bloom and thrive, and each little participant plays a vital role and is in harmony with everything around.

🐍 Day - Venomous viper snake (Craspedocephalus gramineus) and poisonous foxglove plant (Digitalis). There are both dangerous but can be medically beneficial if you know how to use their venom and toxins properly. Interestingly, these two are also closely linked to sun symbolism in many cultures, representing duality - the sun's power to heal and to harm - much like how their potent effects can either cure or destroy depending on the knowledge and care with which they are harnessed.

Together, these two static illustrations represent movement and fluidity. My diptych serves as a short visual poem to gradual transformation of everything around us, including ourselves. Life is filled with duality and is constantly changing, adapting, and evolving with time. Nature, ideas, and even our identities shift as they respond to the forces of time and experience. It's a comforting thought that change, even when challenging, is a natural process - a part of the larger transformative journey toward something new.
