Here is a quick guide on how to prepare a poster before hanging it on a wall.
Almost all of my botanical posters ship in tubes. The diameter wary from 5cm to 8cm depending on the qiantity of posters in order.
There are many ways to unroll a poster, though some of them have a risk of creasing the poster. This is why on this page I am providing one and safest one!
I suggest this method: weight it down
- Take off protection caps from the tube and take out poster(s).
- Unroll it carefully on a clean, flat surface.
- Place something heavy on each corner and along the edges to weigh it down. Books work particularly well
- Leave for 24 hours. Be patient! This duration will give the poster ample time to relax and flatten out.
- Remove weights. The poster is ready! Once your poster is successfully unrolled and flattened, consider framing it to protect it from future damage.
